About Professor Coopman:

Math is Fun!

I have been teaching Math as a full-time instructor at Cypress College since Fall 2002. Currently, I am teaching Finite Mathematics and Survey of Calculus. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Math from UCLA and a Master’s degree in Applied Math from CSULB. I was also on the Women’s Volleyball team at UCLA and really enjoyed my experience there as a student-athlete.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time at the beach and I enjoy golfing. I had my first hole-in-one on a par 3 at Mesa Linda Golf Course in 2012! I also love hiking and being in the mountains. I love to read and I enjoy music. I love teaching and I look forward to helping you be successful in your Math classes.

Please email me or stop by my campus office hours if you have questions on book homework or course content!

Good luck this semester!
