About Professor Ledesma

I know that for many people, math is not their favorite subject, and sometimes, people say that they hate math. Many times, a person feels this way because of a bad math experience that they had in the past. I am here to help in any way possible to alleviate the frustration, stress, and anxiety that you may feel towards math and make the subject bearable, and maybe even make you a fan of math!

Master of Arts, Mathematics – Concentration in Education, from California State University, Fullerton (2011)
Bachelor of Arts, Mathematics – Concentration in Education, from California State University, Fullerton (2009)
Associate of Arts Degree, from Saddleback College (2007)

I started my teaching career in 2009 as a part-time mathematics teacher at California State University, Fullerton and carried on to become a part-time teacher at Cypress College and at Santiago Canyon College. Then in 2012, I was fortunate enough to be hired on as a full-time instructor here at Cypress College.

I have two little ones at home, my dogs Dexter and Sheldon, both named after a couple of my favorite television personalities. I am a homebody and love to relax at home, either watching my favorite television shows (some of which are Naruto, Archer, Impractical Jokers, The League, Big Bang Theory, The Vampire Diaries, etc…) or reading a great book (currently reading the A Song of Ice and Fire series).
